Amazing! Even though we moved the tournament from our typical end-of-July date (and caught a few people off guard, including ourselves) and we lost a money-giving sponsor or two, we still managed to raise over $6000 for the Homeless Shelter! Thanks to the aggressive marketing techniques of the cookie brigade, and the generous donations from many of the players and benefactors, the "official" total for Rooftime X is $6,087!

Just in case you were wondering, we drew 42 teams of doubles on Saturday, 70 teams of doubles on Sunday and 10 teams of quads for a total of 194 players (which is comparable to the 196 that played last year). Thanks! Xie-xie! Kiitos! Merci! Danke! Grazie! Arigato! Kamsamnida! Spasibo! Gracias!

This is also the first year we ran out of t-shirts. If there is enough interest, I'll place an order for some more. Let me know the size and quantity, and I'll get back to you.

As usual, there are tons of people to thank. First of all, to all the players who travel from both near and far, thanks for participating in this event. Without you, there would be no tournament. And to all the sponsors for donating the prizes (so that all the proceeds can go directly to the homeless shelter), donations for the shelter and for the cash donations. Finally to all the people who work so hard to make this tournament run so smoothly.
